If you are a pray -er,
Someone has said if Christians really understood the full extent of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless. Did you know that during WWII there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every day at a prescribed hour for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England, its people and peace?
There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in America. If you would like to participate: Every evening at 9:00 PM Eastern Time (8:00 PM Central) (7:00PM Mountain) (6:00 PM Pacific), stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute praying for the safety of the United States, our troops, our citizens, and for a return to a Godly nation. If you know anyone else who would like to participate, please pass this along. Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have.
BTW - found this on a fellow CKMBer's blog ~ thank you, Joscie! www.cutchens.com

Too Much Easter Candy
Took this video literally 15 minutes after the kids had their after dinner "treat from the Easter basket." Don't exactly know where they got the idea to run around with boxes on their heads, but it's pretty amusing :)
BTW ~ this is precisely the reason we don't have an island yet in our kitchen. Figured we'd wait until the kids are done "running around in circles" as Evan and now Ryan call it.
Enjoy!

Chicken Nuggets
Tonight, I was reading Evan & Ryan a book about a farmer whose animals are trying to get him to wake up. We got to the chicken page and there were 3 hens, one with 3 baby chicks around her.
Ryan asked me what they were. I said, "Those are chickens and the little ones are the baby chicks."
"They're chicken nuggets!" he replied.
I totally laughed out loud.

Breakdancing with a Binky
We got home from picking Evan up from school today and the boys wanted me to put on the Madagascar song "I LIKE TO MOVE IT" so they could "breakdance" - their words, not mine.
Just try to picture a 4 1/2 year old breakdancing on the kitchen floor. I mean, he really gets into it...spinning around on his hand and everything. And then try to picture a 2 1/2 year old [with a binky in his mouth, mind you] trying to imitate EVERY MOVE that his big brother makes. It's hysterical!! I wish I had it on video...
I WAS able to get this on video about 5 minutes ago....not exactly the same, but you can get the idea :) Enjoy! BTW - Ryan is wearing "big boy underwear" - hopefully, we're on our way out of diapers!!
[PAUSE THE MUSIC ON THE SIDEBAR SO YOU CAN HEAR THE VIDEO SOUND]

In arrest
Tonight when we were putting the boys to bed, Evan was playing with one of his Rescue Hero figurines. He shot the "grabber" thing around my arm and said, "Come with me...you have to go in arrest."
"I have to go in a rest?" I asked.
"Yep"
"YIPPEEEEE!!!"
If anyone's looking for me, I'll be in a rest.

Oh....(followed up with knowing looks)
Why is it that every - and I mean, EVERY - time Mark or I tell someone that we have 3 boys, we get the SAME reaction:
"Oh...you must be very busy at your house" - usually this is accompanied by a look that's somewhere between sympathy and anxiety.
I wonder if parents of 3 girls get the same reaction?
I'm guessing not.
